Students have to find a spot on the floor to lay down, and they can't move or talk. Someone walks around and calls people out. I will definitely need to try this during the last few weeks of school because there are points -- usually in the mid afternoon -- where I just need a few minutes of quiet think time, and I have some students who really struggle with that.
